I'm a freelance pianist and organist based in Chester, North-West England. I've played the piano since the age of 6 and began learning the organ a few years later, achieving grade 8 in both by my mid-teens. I have a lot of experience performing as a solo recitalist on both instruments, and have also enjoyed playing with various choirs and bands - current collaborations include Chester Big Band and the Dee Ensemble.

I've been a church organist in Leeds, Solihull and Chester and have played for many wedding services. I have also played keyboard music for wedding receptions, at venues such as Tyn Dwr Hall and Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales, and Abbeywood, Cheshire. I like to collaborate with other musicians, especially accompanying other soloists, for example through ABRSM exams or in concerts.

 

I also hold masters degrees in engineering from the universities of Leeds and York, but after 22 years in that profession have recently chosen to make a career change to follow my passion for music. If you'd like to know more it'd be great to hear from you!
